Sport and
Education
Sport is an extremely important part of all-round education. It reinforces social values and can have a very positive impact on children and young people. Participating in sports activities teaches them to think and behave in ways that can become life-long assets.
When enthusiasm for sport is directed and guided through qualified training, young people can acquire decisive values and life-skills: self-confidence, team spirit, fair play, integration, discipline, respect and cooperation.
Sport increases children’s learning abilities by strengthening their attention spans and powers of concentration. And sport means fun and social contact – both of which make learning easier.
