Objectives of the Philipp Lahm Foundation

The Philipp Lahm Foundation is dedicated to promoting initiatives in Germany and in Africa – currently in South Africa - that develop sports and life skills and promote social values among young people, especially children from disadvantaged family backgrounds.  

In Germany the Philipp Lahm Foundation projects

•    help young people discover and develop their skills and abilities
•    promote integration of children from minority groups
•    encourage children and teenagers to improve their school performance

In Africa the Philipp Lahm Foundation projects

•    provide opportunities for sports and training
•    offer sports programmes that build and strengthen social structures
•    promote education and vocational training
